A collaborative installation out of cork with the wine bar and restaurant 47 Anno Domini in Groningen

For almost 2 years the wine bar have been collecting corks from the wine bottles served. This resulted in approximately 1200 corks.
One cork equals one bottle, one bottle equals about six glasses of wine. Therefore, we poured about 7200 glasses of selected, fine wines – 7200 glasses of happiness.
This installation is an experiment to improve the sound in the restaurant as well as it acts as a decorative element. Its choice of shape and material creates a cozy, suitable atmosphere for the restaurant.
