Bob Frederik is a product and concept designer focused on the intersection of light, object and space. His work ranges from furniture to light objects and conceptual pieces, always driven by research, experimentation and a strong sense of clarity.

With an experimental approach, he explores how materials, structure and light interact. Function is never separate from concept; instead, each object is developed through a process of testing, refining and simplifying. The result is work that feels minimal and precise, yet playful and expressive.

For Bob, light is more than illumination — it is material, atmosphere and structure. His designs aim to create balance between rational thinking and intuitive making, resulting in timeless objects with a clear identity.

He works independently and in collaboration with makers, brands and spatial designers, with the ambition to grow towards a multidisciplinary design studio operating across different segments.
